Description
TuffTug ring toys are our strongest tug toy. Available in three sizes, these toys are made out of 4-way fleece and minky faux-fur, knotted (rather than braided like our rope tugs) tightly in a circle. Available sizes:
Small (3/4″ x 6.5″)
Large (1″ x 8″)
X Large (1″ x 10″)
Our standard TuffTug is made of one strand of minky faux-fur and three strands of fleece, for maximum structure. If you’d like a TuffTug with more than one strand of minky, please contact us.
A variety of ball types can be added to your custom TuffTug for the ball-driven canine! A bit about each ball option:
- Chew King (Medium, 2.5”): durable rubber balls that retain their shape, the ball with the most give, which most dogs love! Comes in Mint, Light Blue, and Bright Purple.
- Chew King Glow (Medium, 2.5”): Less give than standard Chew King balls, made from durable rubber. Standard Glow in the Dark color.
- ChuckIt (Small 2” or Medium 2.5”): made of durable, long-lasting rubber that can hold up to most dogs’ chewing. Comes in Orange and Light Blue.
- Hol-ee Rollers (Small 3.5” or Medium 5”): Made of durable rubber, but not recommended for aggressive chewing or strong tuggers. Can be turned into additional enrichment by stuffing the ball portion of the tug with toys and treats. Comes in Lime, Purple, Royal Blue, and Red.
We will choose the color ball that best suits your chosen tug. If you have a strong preference on color, please reach out to us for availability.
Please note: These toys are designed for active play between dog and handler and are not designed for chewing. When play time is over, please remove toy from dog’s reach.
While we do our best to make each item to the specified size, each item is handmade and variations will occur.

Because items are customized and created on demand, we do not accept returns. However, if you have a problem with your product, we encourage you to contact us immediately so we can solve any issues.

TuffTugs are made from high quality fleece and minky faux fur braided tightly and tied securely into a ring shape. These tugs are made from all fleece or a combination of fleece and one minky strand.
A ball may be added to any custom TuffTug. Ball color will vary depending on Ball Type selected and current stock available. We will choose the ball color that best fits your custom colors. If you have a specific preference on ball color, please make a note in the Additional Notes field before submitting your order.
